This episode continues my conversation from last October with my friend Jen, the M*****ine Pump Girl, discussing the transition off the pump to oral pain medicines and finally to medical marijuana as the policies in Pennsylvania were evolving in early 2018.
We discuss drug use and I selected a couple of excerpts to bring up the thorny subject of intoxication and motor vehicle operation. In this episode I come to grips with the thousands of lives I endangered driving to work each day on fentanyl, which is something I regret. With the benefit of my perspective now, I would have solved the problem differently.
Finally, I have asked permission to use this great song from Local H, "Nothing Special." When I first saw them live sometime around 2017 in Boston I went home and bought all of their albums. Please check out their store and buy some merch at the link below and see them live when you can!
